Our Vision and Goals
We aim to provide a stable foundation and links to community to create a holistic person-centred approach for each child in our programs. We have a vision of creating opportunities to enable each child/young person to become ethical, successful, independent, productive members of Kenyan society. We approach our vision with central values of integrity and empowerment. We believe in accountability and honesty with those we work with; both those who entrust us to do our work with financial support and those we serve through our efforts. To date we have 41 children in our program with the first 3 graduating high school in 2017 entering our transition program. Friends Vision is registered as a charity in Kenya and Australia (Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission), with Charity Tax Concession status and Deductible Gift Recipient status with the Australian Taxation Office.
