Christmas Appeal 2011
Friends Visions Christmas Appeal 2011 raised over $2000 to put towards parties for over 200 children in rescue centers on the 23rd and 25th of December and to help build our children's home. We would like to extend our gratitude to Jonathan Zuchowski for his very generous donation, Brit Garcia for asking her friends to donate to Friends Vision in lieu of birthday presents, Tracy and Paul Herring and to an anonymous donor who donated $600.

Sorry it has been a while between updates - it has been a very busy year!

Fund 'RAISE THE ROOF' for the Kids
One of our Friends Vision committee members, Marika Koulas is holding a fundraiser in Vancouver B.C on 20th March at the Village Taphouse. All profits will go towards building our Friends Vision Children's Home. So if you live in that part of the world, come on down to support this great cause!!!! FRIENDS VISION WOULD LIKE TO GIVE A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO DONATED AND FUND "RAISED THE ROOF" FOR THE KIDS. WE MADE OVER $5000 FOR THE BUILDING OF OUR CHILDREN'S HOME IN KENYA. THANK YOU!!!!

A Small Act Fundraising Event
One of Friends Vision's board members, Amy Weiner, will be hosting a fundraiser in Florida USA on Friday, 3rd December at Movies of Delray, 7421 West Atlantic Avenue, Delray Beach. The money raised will go towards our sponsorship program and for the building of our childrens home. Please come along to show your support and make a difference!!!

Ken-ya Come Together
Friends Vision is holding a fundraiser in Darwin, Australia on the 6th November to raise money to build our first children's home.

Out of Africa 3
Out of Africa 3 is a fundraiser hosted by a Friends Vision team member in Vancouver, Canada. All proceeds will go towards building our children's home.

African Fundraiser Night!!!!
Friends Vision is happy to announce it's first fundraising event in Brantford, Ontario, Canada.

We Have the Land!!!
Hey all, I have some great news. We have brought a 3 acre plot of land in the town of Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. It has beautiful views and is surrounded by lush green hills, a volcano, a lake and zebras! In the next two weeks we will start fencing the property and will start growing crab-apple and bougainvillea to interweave around the fence. We will also start growing some crops and plant some fruit trees before the wet season starts. We are working on the design for the home. It should be ready for viewing in the next month.
